Welcome to iSheds - Home of dyslexia support for students in the Balkans and Central Europe

Dyslexia is a difficulty in the acquisition of accurate and fluent reading and writing skills which affects 10% of the population. This occurs in every language, and the underlying difficulties are persistent throughout life. The iSheds project provides resources and support for dyslexic students in Higher Education in Central Europe and the Balkan region.

The project is developing resources to help the dyslexic student have the opportunity to reach their full potential in their studies. Those supporting dyslexic students will also find here useful information and resources.

These resources can be found using the links on the left, and include (NB Some resources are still in development):

  • Self-assessment tool for the dyslexic student
  • E-learning for dyslexic students
  • E-learning for those who support dyslexic students
  • Free online Concept Mapping in Bosnian, Croatian, Hungarian, Serbian and Slovakian.
